Located in the heart of Upstate New York's Mohawk Valley, Marcy NanoCenter is a 300-acre shovel-ready greenfield site on the State University of New York Institute of Technology’s (SUNYIT) campus in Oneida County. Marcy NanoCenter meets or exceeds all Semi-NY infrastructure requirements with sewer, water, redundant electrical supply, gas and telecommunications in immediate proximity to the site.

Marcy NanoCenter is one mile north of Interstate 90, with the nearest interchange three miles away. Direct access is available to State Route 49 heading east and west, and State Routes 8 and 12 going north and south. Hancock International Airport in Syracuse is a 45-minute drive west, and Albany International Airport is a 90-minute drive east.
Marcy NanoCenter is within the Utica-Rome MSA with a population of 300,000, with 27 percent of adults holding an associate degree or higher. Two community colleges serve the labor market, comprised of more than 70,000 high school graduates. SUNYIT, with more than 2,600 students working toward degrees in technical programs, offers on-site continuing education capability for training and retraining of industry work force, availability of state-of-the-art telecommunications infrastructure, conference capabilities, and other amenities that enhance the technology campus setting.
Within the Mohawk Valley, geographically central to New York State and situated at the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains, a broad base of support exists among political, industrial and educational leaders to facilitate access to human, technical and natural resources by the nanoelectronics industry.
